Good evening from Japan~ 

The peony is among the longest-used flowers in Eastern culture and is one of the smallest living creature national emblems in China. Along with the plum blossom, it is a traditional floral symbol of China, and is used symbolically in Chinese art.In Japan, peony is called 牡丹 - ぼたん (Botan) or 牡丹の花. It is also considered as the "King of Flowers" or the "Prime Minister of Flowers."

Last week I had a chance to visit a peony garden in Ueno. The garden is located inside Toshogu shrine （東照宮神社）. It is very common in Japan that many flower gardens are developed inside a shrine, and as new season comes, every body goes to seeing those.

Sakura season has ended one month ago. In Japan, thinking of May it's rose season!!! But it hasn't started yet, may be from middle of May...

But, we have peonies (*'▽'*)♪. Let me show you some photos I took at peony garden !

I thought that peony is rose-relatives, but am I wrong?

Mori shopping corner #5: Olive des Olive

久しぶり～ Long time no see. Let's back to Mori shopping corner ^-^

Today I would like to introduce about another Japanese casual clothes' brand: Olive des Olive. Its products are really cute and Mori-ish XD.

Style: casual, street fashion, Mori-girl, natural style...

Pros:

• Price: quite reasonable, especially on sale seasons xD. I think the items are divided into "high" and "medium" price levels, because while there are pants or blouses which prices are about 2000-3000 Yen, there are also skirts with nearly 8000 Yen.
• Designs: Compare to Wonder Rocket, Olive des Olive's items are less laces and layers. Instead, its designs are more mature, more adult-like or オトナっぽい, in Japanese. That's how I feel about it. The coloring is good. I recommend Olive des Olive's bags and shoes. They are super cute and unique.
• Web layout: pretty informative ^^
• There are friendly staff's coordinate staff's blogs.

Cons:

• No international shipping ><

Finally I would introduce my new sweetheart bought in Olive des Olive Shinjuku branch, Tokyo. I recently fell in love with polka dots ><. I believe that the number of polka dots items in my closet would increase after this summer *sigh*

Mori shopping corner #4: Wonder Rocket

Yes, Wonder Rocket is no doubt a Mori-kei's brand!

Brand name: Wonder Rocket - ワンダーロケット

Style: Mori, Lolita, natural, street, casual

Personally I think Wonder Rocket clothing is more Lolita-kei rather than Mori-kei, but there are still many Mori-like found in the online shop. And you can be more Lolita or more 'Mori' depends on how you mix your clothes.

Pros:

• Price (always one of the first things we consider about): Really reasonable. It can't be called cheap, but I think it isn't expensive at all, compare to some other brands. Normally, an one-piece would cost about 4000-6000 Yen, as I investigated through many natural-kei online shop. But Wonder Rocket's are not that much, and they are definitely cute.
• Quality: good, of course.
• Style: cute ^^. It suits girls who love clothes with light or white colors, laces, ribbons and loose one-pieces, and so on *heart*
• The website is easy to see and find things you want.

Cons: 

• It doesn't provide international shipping service >_<
• It doesn't have much goods' quantity in stock. (As I searched for some bags and shoes, half of them were sold out)

If you want to buy clothes from shops which don't provide international shipping service, you'd have to use shipping agents. They would, as your representative, buy things you want from the shop, then ship them to you. All you have to do are to choose items you like and tell them :D. I have heard about this kind of service, but I am not sure about which one is trustworthy.

My future-online shop would definitely have international shipping service : )
