Peony - king of flowers. ボタンシーズンの写真

Good evening from Japan~
The peony is among the longest-used flowers in Eastern culture and is one of the smallest living creature national emblems in China. Along with the plum blossom, it is a traditional floral symbol of China, and is used symbolically in Chinese art.In Japan, peony is called 牡丹 - ぼたん (Botan) or 牡丹の花. It is also considered as the "King of Flowers" or the "Prime Minister of Flowers."

Last week I had a chance to visit a peony garden in Ueno. The garden is located inside Toshogu shrine (東照宮神社). It is very common in Japan that many flower gardens are developed inside a shrine, and as new season comes, every body goes to seeing those.

Sakura season has ended one month ago. In Japan, thinking of May it's rose season!!! But it hasn't started yet, may be from middle of May...

But, we have peonies (*'▽'*)♪. Let me show you some photos I took at peony garden !

I thought that peony is rose-relatives, but am I wrong?

Pink, white...

Can you image how big the flowers are?

one of my favorite photos

Yae-sakura, its name?

the garden is decorated with big umbrella, adding more romantic and traditional sense

Tadaima! - I'm back

"Tadaima" means "I'm back" in Japanese.

And, yes I'm back!!!!!!
I mean I didn't really post anything like say-goodbye entry or something, but I realized that I've left my blog for so long to focus on my job-hunting.

In Japan, there is so-called "job-hunting season" starting from December of the third school year. From that time until you graduate, you have more than one year to prepare for finding a job, getting one, and enjoying your last moments at university.

It involves in so many company seminars, interviews, online as well as written tests, along with black suits, black hair, stresses, tears and so on.

Thanks for everybody's support, I received job offer last week. That was such a good news to me during 5 months long. It also means that I can stop every job-hunting things to focus on WHAT I WANT TO DO!
Yeah that means I will start working from next year's April, which sounds not really fun, huh? Actually I has been thinking a lot about whether to become an OL (office lady - similar meaning with salary man in Japanese haha), or do my little shop. Finally I chose to do both lol. I will try to be a good OL and study new things as an "shakaijin", as well as take care of this blog and my future shop ^_^

Anyway, here are some cherry blossom photos,"hello, I'm back" greetings for everybody.

And, thank God it's Springggggggggggggg

Hope you enjoy spring and I'll be back soon with latest entry about shop's new items ^0^

Mori shopping corner #7: Nashare

As a frequent buyer of Rakuten, I'm so in love with Nashare, which is not really a brand but it is so lovely and so "Mori" ^^

Shop's name: Nashare (maybe from Natural and "Oshare" which means fashionable in Japanese)
Shop link: Nashare Rakuten shop
Style: of course Mori, natural.

And so many other lovely things that I cannot post all here ><

Good points:
  • Lovely designs. Their products are so good and so adorable ;__;
  • Price: reasonable.
  • Website: good design too. It's easy to find things.
Not good points ^^:
  • I think they don't ship internationally.

Happy shopping ^0^
